Age Restrictions – Children Under Age 5 are Invited to Matinees Only (infants in arms are not permitted to any show)
GCB wants everyone to experience the magic of our Nutcracker, but young children and crying infants do create a significant distraction to performers and other patrons. Evening performances are restricted to adults and children ages (5) and older. Our matinee shows are family-friendly, though we do request no babes in arms. For the safety of all performers and enjoyment of all audience members, please consider whether every ticket holder is able to sit (without talking) throughout the entire show. If needed, Ushers can direct patrons to a sound-proof “viewing room” (capacity approx. 8-10) in the back of the theater if children get restless during the show. Thank you for your understanding as we try to create a safe environment for our dancers and a positive experience for all of our paying audience.

Please note that Garden City Ballet does not manage or have any control over the ticketing process. Please see important information below prior to purchasing.

Cancellation Policy
All tickets are non-refundable. Performances are held rain or shine. Be prepared for winter conditions that might delay travel. Leave more time than you think for securing a parking space and walking to the building.

If Shows Are Sold Out
We may open our Final Dress Rehearsal on Thursday evening to accommodate demand. Also, we may have (4) emergency seat holds in Row Q released at the Montana Theatre box office (first come basis) 30 minutes before each performance starts. Ticket swaps do take place on GCB’s Facebook page and we maintain a physical ticket board in the lobby where people post tickets for sale.

Theater Info
Venue – Montana Theatre – University of Montana
Performances are held in the Montana Theatre (which is inside the PARTV building, at the east end of 6th Ave, across from the Adams Center and new museum).

Flower Fundraiser
Through a partnership with Bitterroot Flower Shop, you may purchase a congratulatory bouquet of flowers for a member of the Nutcracker cast. Pre-orders are encouraged (through early December) in our online GCB Store and a limited supply of bouquets will also be available for purchase in the lobby before the show and during intermission.

Concessions Fundraiser
Limited concessions will be available for purchase before the show and during intermission. Due to the brief intermission and UM policy that no food or drink (other than water) be permitted into the auditorium, there will be no alcohol sales. Important: As guests in the Montana Theatre, audience members are kindly asked to respect UM policy and consume all snacks and beverages in the lobby area. Only water is allowed inside the auditorium. We constantly strive to ensure an enjoyable experience for all of our patrons — thank you for your understanding and cooperation! (In exchange for using the University of Montana’s concessions stand, GCB donates 10% of all proceeds to UM’s Dance Scholarship program.)

Merchandise Fundraiser
All proceeds from lobby sales of stickers, ornaments, jewelry, and other Nutcracker-themed items will go towards our Scholarship program for dancers.
